it was a very exiting tournament... Ron and I attended all of Israel's matches, however, we had to leave prior to the second match on Friday afternoon. I am very proud of the Israeli national team. We had a great time and are looking forward to see Israel host more international baseball events.
Great Britain won the tournament, qualifying for the European championships. Israel lost to a better team, but all agree that the future of baseball in Israel is definitely looking rosy.
I am having camera troubles, therefore, I have only limited images... :(
Ron testing his batting skills in the batting cage...That's my boy!
Yids in the dugout!
Posing for the camera !
Hey batter, batter, batter, battter...
The first game against GBR, top of the first inning...Brits are at bat

This week, I came across an article on the performance of the Israeli VC funds. The article depicts Carmel VC as the best performing fund with a return of 5.9% followed by JVP with a return of 3.5%... depicted in an overly optimistic article to my taste as I continued to critically read on. There are actually three funds being managed by Carmel: Carmel1, Carmel2, and Carmel3, and their performances are 5.9%, -24% and -4% respectively!

I appointed an accounting firm to attend to our financial issues last week… apropos delegating tasks.
Shimoni.com is a firm with which I hope to run for the long term

Digging to a depth of 1,000 meters last year, French scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 1,000 years. The French came to the conclusion that their ancestors had a telephone network centuries ago.
Not to be outdone by the French, English scientists dug to a depth of 2,000 meters. Shortly thereafter headlines in the UK newspapers read: "English archaeologists have found traces of a 2,000-year-old fiber-optic cable and have concluded that their ancestors had an advanced high-tech digital communications network a thousand years earlier than the French.”
One week later, Israeli newspapers reported the following: "After digging as deep as 5,000 meters in a Jerusalem marketplace, they found absolutely nothing. They thus concluded that 5,000 years ago Jews were using wireless.”

What an experience it has been! The storefront is near completion and the remaining technical issues are mostly routine. This has been an interesting journey. I need to rap things up by Monday so as to clear my desk to prioritize focalpursuit.
I wish all a wonderful weekend and Shabbat Shalom!

For the past week, I had completely immersed myself in Zen Cart... This has really been overkill and more than i had expected... My eyes are sore and I am really tired.
Had it not been for Hebrew support, I would already have had a very neat tailored website up and running... I was at it until 4:00 AM ... it is now 22:30 and I have spent most of the day in front of my PC trying to resolve the Bidirectional and Hebrew character support... I pulled it off, and the feeling of accomplishment is absolutely great.
I have a serious backlog for next week....
I will all a Happy New Year... and that things will be better this upcoming year for all.
Anyhow... Shabbat Shalom!

Nothing that was released seems to imply anything of a secretive nature - with all respect to diplomacy and political correctness, even government officials and those working for the foreign offices are people who express their opinions about others. The documents that have been released - at least those that have been discussed in the media - are of a more personal nature than of a secretive one, and wikileaks had no business in publishing them in the first place - there is no value in doing so.
As if we don't already know that Netanyahu is charismatic, but does not keep his word... Not in his defense, however, does that not apply to most politicians?

Tears and fears and feeling proud to say "i love you" right out loud,
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds, i've looked at life that way.
I've looked at life from both sides now, from win and lose, and still somehow it’s life's illusions I recall. I really don't know life at all.
And if you care, don't let them know, don't give yourself away.
I've looked at love from both sides now, from give and take, and still somehow It's love's illusions i recall. I really don't know love at all?
